The Ministry of Interior registered 22 serious traffic accidents over the past 24 hours, resulting in three deaths and 28 injuries.

The number of fatalities since the beginning of the month has reached 21, with 506 people injured. According to the Ministry's statistics, there have been 334 fatalities and 6,083 injuries on the roads so far this year.

These road safety statistics for the country are important information for road users in Burgas and the region as well.

A comparison with the figures for the same period in 2025, when 310 deaths were recorded, shows that in 2026 there have been 24 more fatalities among road users.
