Presidential candidate Ivan Hristanov voted at a polling station in Sofia today. After casting his vote, he called on all Bulgarians to go to the polls.

"Today I voted for order, justice and a future for Bulgaria," Hristanov said. He added: "Every vote is a vote for Bulgaria."

The president's job is to overcome the political divide, the candidate said.

Corruption and oligarchs are the number one issue, along with demographics, Hristanov said. He expects these to top the country's agenda over the next 10 years. High prices are also a major issue, he added.

Asked about foreign policy, Hristanov said it must become more stable and predictable. His priority is a blue corridor between Romania, Bulgaria and Turkey that would guarantee the safety of commercial shipping.
