One euro is worth $1.1186 on 8 October, the European Central Bank (ECB) said. The rate was $1.1177 yesterday.

One dollar costs €0.8940, against €0.8947 yesterday. The Bulgarian National Bank (BNB) has posted on its website the rates of other currencies against the euro for the same day, as required by Article 12(1) of the Currency Act.

One euro buys 177.05 Japanese yen, 24.403 Czech koruna, 7.4739 Danish krone and 0.84698 British pounds. It also buys 366.25 Hungarian forints, 4.3753 Polish zloty, 5.3434 Romanian lei and 11.1940 Swedish krona. The euro also buys 0.9326 Swiss francs, 137.00 Icelandic krona, 10.7170 Norwegian krone and 55.0523 Turkish lira.

One euro also buys 1.6110 Australian dollars, 5.6118 Brazilian reais, 1.5953 Canadian dollars, 7.4972 Chinese yuan and 8.7783 Hong Kong dollars. It buys 20,045.31 Indonesian rupiah, 3.4423 Israeli shekels, 108.2635 Indian rupees, 1,502.79 South Korean won and 20.1486 Mexican pesos. The list also includes 4.5768 Malaysian ringgit, 2.0014 New Zealand dollars, 70.475 Philippine pesos, 1.4340 Singapore dollars, 37.680 Thai baht and 18.6252 South African rand.

The BNB says the rates are set for the purposes of the law and advises against using them in deals.
