Lithuania's Prosecutor General's Office has charged two suspects with terrorism-related offences over an attempt to set fire to a Starlink base station.

The attempt was made on 18 October. The station belongs to the US company SpaceX.

One man holds Turkish and German citizenship, the other Serbian and German. Both live in Germany, where they were detained at Bulgaria's request. Bulgaria is running a separate investigation into arson against Starlink infrastructure.

Lithuanian authorities have already called the case sabotage linked to Russia, meant to weaken Ukraine's military capabilities.

Moscow has previously rejected similar accusations as baseless.
