Defence minister Dimitar Stoyanov and chief of defence Admiral Emil Eftimov will attend demonstrations at Cheshnegirovo airfield, the Ministry of Defence said.

The demonstrations will take place on VIP Day of BOLD ADRA – 26, a multinational experimental exercise where participants will show what they can do.

NATO's Special Operations Forces Command (SOFCOM) organises the exercise, and Bulgaria's Joint Special Operations Command is the host. Defence industry firms and special forces units from more than 15 countries are taking part.

The tasks at the airfield run from 19 to 23 October. They include countering drones, finding targets, feeding data into a single picture of the battlefield, and striking targets.
