Nine people killed and 46 hurt in crashes across Bulgaria over the past 24 hours, the interior ministry says on its website. The past 24 hours saw 36 crashes with dead or injured. Since the start of September, Bulgaria has recorded 598 crashes with casualties. Sofia saw 21 crashes with minor injuries and three serious ones, with no deaths.
