The second "Participate! The Olympiad Is for Everyone" campaign starts tomorrow, 14 October, at 9:00 am at the BTA National Press Club in Sofia, the press office of the Ministry of Education and Science said. The winner of the "Olympian of Bulgaria for 2026" award will also be named at the event.

The Association of Olympiad Teams and the Regional Education Departments run the campaign. It aims to get more pupils, teachers and head teachers to take part in the municipal rounds of the olympiads. BTA is the main media partner, as it was for the first edition.

Education and science minister Prof. Georgi Valchev, Elena Marinova, deputy chair of the Association of Science Olympiad Teams, and BTA editor-in-chief Yulia Sokolova will take part in the news conference.

The first edition was announced on 2 October 2025, also at the BTA National Press Club. Education and science minister Krasimir Valchev, Valkan Goranov, executive director of the Association of Science Olympiad Teams, Elena Marinova and BTA director general Kiril Valchev took part then.
