People with sight problems are getting help today to install and use the eZdrave app. Inspectors from the Sofia regional health inspectorate are visiting the Asen Altanov Foundation, the inspectorate said.

The foundation supports people with visual impairments and their families. The meeting is at its suggestion, because it wants those who need it to get hands-on help. Experts will show those present how to open their electronic health record and what the app offers.

The app gives every citizen access to their personal patient record, which holds all their electronic health entries from the National Health Information System. The visit is part of a campaign about the electronic health record and eZdrave. It aims to get more people to use digital health services.

Information Services AD said the records of more than 750,000 people can be opened in the mobile app. Of these, 485,000 are active users. The other profiles are linked accounts, which parents use to follow their children's health data up to age 18.

Since the start of the month, visits to the dentist and dental treatment have also appeared in the app and in the web version of the electronic health record, the health ministry said.
